03Your 2nd house sign and your money style

The 2nd house sign is the most useful single fact for a money question. A fire sign there (Aries, Leo, Sagittarius) tends to earn through initiative and spend with confidence. An earth sign (Taurus, Virgo, Capricorn) tends to earn steadily and save well. An air sign (Gemini, Libra, Aquarius) earns through ideas, people and several sources at once. 05Timing: transits and your 2nd house

The reading also watches the cusp of the 2nd house itself. When Jupiter enters it, for roughly a year, astrologers traditionally expect one of the best stretches for earning. When Saturn enters, for about two and a half years, it is a time to budget and build. Slow planets can cross the cusp more than once as they turn retrograde; the reading lists each crossing and says which way it goes.
